Perforated L-Foot (Wheel Fin)

WHEEL FIN TENSION WOUND FINNED TUBES

Wheel Fin Tension Wound Finned Tubes are identical to L-Foot Finned Tubes in manufacture except that during the finning process the vertical face of the fin is perforated. This perforation allows for increased air flow and greater surface area.

Tex Fin’s Wheel Fin finned tubes are manufactured to your exact specifications to meet the demands of your applications. We offer the following options:

Tube materials available are carbon steel, carbon moly, stainless steel, Incoloy ®and Inconel®. Other alloys are available if needed.
Fin material is aluminum.
Tube sizes from 1/2” O.D. to 2” O.D.
Fin heights from 1/4” to 5/8”
Fin pitch from 4 fins/in. to 13 fins/in.
Tubes can be bent into the shapes required for your application.

Wheel Fin tension wound finned tubes are available using pipe rather than tubes and can be manufactured to ASME and ASTM standards for your application.
