Extruded Finned Tubes

Extruded finned tubes are manufactured by pressure-rolling an outer aluminum bloom around an inner tube in a process that bonds the two together and extrudes the fins out from the aluminum bloom.

The aluminum entirely encloses the inner tube, providing superior protection for the tube from atmospheric corrosion and making the finned tubes easy to clean.

Extruded fin tubes are used in applications where the tubes and fins are exposed to corrosive atmospheres and temperatures up to 550°F.

Common tube materials are carbon steel, carbon chrome moly,
stainless steel, Incoloy ®and Inconel®, however virtually any tube material can be used.

Tube sizes from 1” O.D. to 1-1/2” O.D.
Fin heights from 1/2” to 5/8”
Fin pitch from 8 fins/in. to 13 fins/in.
