Double L-Foot Tension Wound Finned Tubes

Double L-Foot Fin Tension Wound Finned Tubes wound finned tubes provide a broader contact surface between the tube and fin than L-Foot tension wound finned tubes.
Like L-Foot, the fins are mechanically locked to the tube during fabrication as they are tension-wound around the tube.
The difference with Double L-Foot is that the base of the following fin overlaps the preceding fin, creating complete coverage of the base tube.
This process provides better corrosion resistance for the base tube.

Tex Fin’s Double L-foot finned tubes are manufactured to your exact specifications to meet the demands of your applications. We offer the following options:

Tube materials available are carbon steel, carbon moly, stainless steel, Incoloy ®and Inconel®. Other alloys are available if needed.
Fin material is aluminum.
Tube sizes from 1/2” O.D. to 2” O.D.
Fin heights from 1/4” to 5/8”
Fin pitch from 4 fins/in. to 11 fins/in.
Tubes can be bent into the shapes required for your application.

Double L-foot tension wound finned tubes are available using pipe rather than tubes and can be manufactured to ASME and ASTM standards for your application.
